SPT300 Data Logger

Power Supply: 8V ~ 24V

Number of Channels: 6 (SPT300-6) or 12 (SPT300-12)

A/D Conversion: Option of 24-bit 6-ch (SPT300-6) or 24-bit 6-ch and 32-bit 6-ch (SPT300-12)

D/A Signal Generator: 32-bit DAC, for external resistance measurement and seismic sensor calibration with sinusoidal signal

Sampling Frequency:

32-bit: 62.5 Hz, 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1 KHz, 2 KHz, 4KHz

24-bit: 2 KHz, 4 KHz,6 KHz, 12 KHz, 24 KHz, 48 KHz, 96 KHz (lower frequency available upon request for 24-bit)

Basically, the 6-ch 32-bit and 6-ch 24-bit are working fully independently; this is the only product in the market which can acquire lower frequency and higher frequency simultaneously, eliminating the necessity to exchange low/high frequency coils and maintaining continuously record without losing low frequency data during high frequency measurement.

Analog Gain:

32-bit channels: 1, 4, 16, 64

24-bit channels: 1, 5, 30, 199

Input Impedance: 2M Ohm

Signal Bandwidth:

32-bit channels: DC ~ 2 KHz

24-bit channels: DC ~ 48 KHz

System Noise: Lowest in the industry: about 5 nV/sqrt(Hz) for 32-bit at gain of 16; about 5nV/sqrt(Hz) for 24-bit at gain of 199

Input Range: -3.2V ~ +3.2V differential with high voltage protection

External Sensor Resistance Measurement: Yes, useful feature for external sensors, such as electrode contact resistance measurement for evaluation of electrode

Acquisition Timing: GPS synchronized

GPS Positioning Accuracy: 2.5 meters (std.)

Data File: Stored in SD card, 24-bit and 32-bit channel data are stored in two different files, with the identical format

Communication Interface: USB, long-range wireless, and Ethernet (optional)

Firmware Upgrade: Using USB

Packaging: Ruggedized enclosure

Sensors: Can be connected to most of sensors, such as electrodes, coil magnetometers, geophones, etc. using respective adapter cables, such as Crystal Globe electrode and coils, LEMI, Zonge and Phoenix coils

Power Supply for External Sensors: ± 11 VDC

Pseudorandom Noise Transmitter Sequence Driver: Yes

Acquisition Scheduler: Yes, useful for acquisition without operator

Acquisition and QA/QC Software: Provided with unit; also able to convert Crystal Globe data format to KMS, Zonge, Phoenix data format for customer evaluation/comparison purpose (currently KMS format conversion implemented).

Purchase Configuration: 32-bit 6-Ch daughter board can be removed if only 24-bit 6-Ch is needed

Power Consumption: Lowest power consumption in the industry – about 2.2W during acquisition with all 12 channels enabled; much lower than nearest competitors

Size and Weight: Small size and light weight with internal battery; Size: TBD, about 9″ x 5″ x 4″
